Who we are

Founded in 2002 as an independent non-profit history magazine, Connecticut Explored is on a mission to tell the stories that have shaped our history.



We publish Connecticut Explored, the magazine of Connecticut history.

Connecticut Explored is our award-winning quarterly magazine. Each issue centers around a different creative theme. In addition to in-depth articles, we also provide information on exhibits, events, and sites to explore.
